All-new Travel Agent Commissions application available via IHG Concerto on 20 October
IHG Hotels & Resorts is launching an all-new Travel Agent Commissions (TAC) application to help hotels simplify and streamline the distribution of commissions to travel agents in one comprehensive platform. Hotels participating in the IHG Travel Agent Commission Programme (TACP) will be able to access the new application in IHG Concerto™, at 9 a.m. local time, on 20 October 2023. TACP enables IHG to process commission payments on behalf of participating hotels, as well as offer customer service support for these hotels and participating travel agencies.

The new application includes:
  • One comprehensive application with multiple pages to help hotels manage the commission process
  • Up to 10 days to manage commissions on the Daily Commissions Review (DCR) page in the new application, compared to three days in the List of Commissionable Updates (LCU) in the previous application
  • New Booking Search page to modify bookings after the Daily Commissions Review's (DCR) window closes
  • Ability to flag bookings as future departures
  • New Exception Review page to manage transactions with high room rates
  • More booking details to help hotels respond to agencies regarding payment inquiries
  • Detailed page-specific Online Help
The current TAC application will be permanently disabled on 17 October 2023, followed by a blackout period on 18-19 October before hotels will have access to the new application on 20 October.

In preparation for the launch, 17 October will be the last day to make booking adjustments in the List of Commissionable Updates (LCU) for 14 October checkouts. 15 October checkouts and onward will be available for modification in the new TAC application on the Daily Commissions Review (DCR) page.

Authorization to Pay and Booking Inquiry forms will also need to be submitted in the current application by the end of day on 17 October. No adjustments or modifications can be made during the blackout period.

During the blackout period, please do not pay agencies directly or outside of the application as this may result in duplicate payments.

Displaying non-inclusive/net room rates
  • Travel agency commission payments will be processed at the standard 10% commission on eligible commissionable rates that are exclusive of taxes, service charges and additional fees such as, but not limited to, resort fees, rollaway fees, miscellaneous fees and gratuities.
  • Beginning with 15 October checkouts, hotels using inclusive room rates will now have the net room rate displayed in the new TAC application and on their IHG detail billing. The travel agency will also see the net room rate in their remittance advice.
  • Refer to the FAQs for additional details.
