3. Reminder: Hotelbeds and Tourico, connected wholesalers for IHG hotels
IHG has renewed its relationship with Hotelbeds and Tourico Holidays given their market presence and agreement to only source rates from Holidex®.  Both wholesalers are now connected partners for the online distribution on TPI rates through Holidex®; and will no longer enter into static rate or pre-buy agreements with IHG hotels directly to ensure compliance with IHG's brand standards.

4. Bookohotel is now a connected wholesaler for IHG
Effective immediately, Bookohotel has been certified as a connected wholesaler for IHG. Bookohotel has signed a global agreement with IHG, therefore hotels should not enter any local agreements with them as that would be a violation of the IHG Third Party Intermediary standard.

5. Reminder: IHG Social Listening Tool will no longer available as of 24-March
As of 24-March, the IHG Social Listening Tool (Revinate) will no longer be available in Merlin. This means that hotels will need to use the HeartBeat Medallia Reporting portal available in Merlin as the one place to read, review and respond to Guest-stay feedback (including HeartBeat surveys, IHG Guest Reviews, and other social reviews such as TripAdvisor). ACTION: Ensure that your social review sources are correct by updating the "Source Settings & Issues" page under the Feedback report in Medallia.

6. IHG to Provide Hertz In-Hotel Rental Car Program in Select Markets
IHG and Hertz are partnering to provide you with an optional car rental program at your IHG property. This opportunity is a no cost, turn-key program that will add value to the guest experience and generate ancillary revenue with at least 12% commission (based on your market) on rentals generated through the property. Options include: an in-hotel desk, staffed with Hertz employees; or a referral program where a local Hertz office services your guests' needs.

7. It's Here! The IHG Way of Clean: Preventative Maintenance & Deep Clean Program
The IHG way of Clean: Preventative Maintenance & Deep Clean program is now available via the IHG Way of Clean Initiatives page

There are three ways to get the program 1. Order through the IHG eStore 2. Download the program from the IHG Way of Clean Initiatives page (Print version and Interactive PDF) 3. Access via the Quore platform (Recommend downloading the program to have a copy for the written pieces that Quore will not incorporate).

When you order your IHG Way of Cleaning: Preventative Maintenance Program Materials you will receive the Preventative Maintenance & Deep Clean guide and 2 tracking Posters.

9. myID is now live at your hotel
Over the weekend, UAM was replaced by new platform myID for identity and access management requests. New colleagues will use myID to request an IHG network user ID. It's also the new home of colleagues' IHG Rewards Club Number. 

Action: For other managers at your hotel to approve user ID and access requests, the General Manager must add them to the Hotel Approver Group in myID by calling IHG Support at 1-800-810-4499. Otherwise, the GM will be the sole approver for all requests.

Action: Requests in UAM that were not approved by 5 pm ET on Friday, March 10 must be re-submitted in myID by the colleague who made the request.

The Americas Sales Roadshow program is designed to drive revenue generating opportunities to IHG from our key accounts by bringing together on property sales teams and IHG key account sales teams to network, collaborate and address questions on specific accounts.
